This Valentine’s , let somebody enjoy its shade Walk somebody down the street, and show them the engravings Let them be street-owners , and rightfully feel so Let them think that they only , own the tree . Friends I have. Here: Meet Don the Dweeb. Sitting in the cool shade of tall trees overlooking a filthy city river at some park clutching a book that has seen better days. Lorn, alone. His whole life has been immobile; characterized by affliction. His frame is rugged. His head is cracked. Bludgeoned his left to blindness. He can't afford a smile...it's too expensive. Naked. They sliced through his chest, grazed his arms; sawed-off his left leg and gashed the other.  Tis long since he had had a modest meal. He cannot drink even a pitcher of the flushing waters of the river yonder...sorry, they cast him in wood for eternity. They sculpted him in affliction. Humans are cruel, very. I wish he can talk. In a starry night in the middle of a city-that-never-sleeps, narrate his life journey.
